The food at our CSA for Thanksgiving week was piled high and looking oh so delicious. My recipe index started as soon as I looked at the weekly board of goodies to take home. Butternut Squash soup, sauteed greens with shallots, roasted brussel sprouts and baby carrots with a balsamic reduction, YUM! I cannot wait to add our own homestyle bacon to that brussels sprout recipe. I had plenty to work with because farmer Eddie is working hard on the last of the season. Only a few more weeks left until our u-pick starts. We are so grateful for our farm and fresh local veg!
