wild beasts

I was going through some photos this weekend and found these taken four years ago to the same day today. These lovely wild Bison are found on Kodiak Island, Alaska. In a not so distant past we lived on the island for about a year. Little B was born in this rugged land. It really felt a million years away from everything which can be good and very bad at the same time. Some of the other wild beasts that call Kodiak home are the famous Kodiak Grizzly Bear, Mountain Goats, Elk, Black-tail Deer, Wild Horses, Sea Lions, Whales, Otters, Salmon and thousands of Bald Eagles, just to name a few.
