we're back

We have been busy birding, walking, picking, canning and celebrating. My family has been soaking up the last drop of summer and as fall makes is appearance and school (preschool) has begun. I have many pictures and stories to share this week including a new chicken named Dahlia that was gifted on my birthday. No news on the eggs and the anticipation may have to wait until spring if the gals don't start before their winter egg slumber. What has everyone else been up to?
