purple fingers and preserves

We be jammin'! These are the wonderful and free berries that I mentioned in an earlier post. Other than an occasional poke from a thorn, the picking was easy. Little B and F could not keep their basket full and our basket was as full as it could get. The best part is there is so many more berries left to ripen that we will have jam for months. Which is perfect for our no spend month of September that is right around the corner (already?). Only the necessities are purchased and the rest has to be free, foraged or forgotten. The extra money from the month goes towards Christmas and holiday.
