recycled paper grass

Our Easter project of the day was cutting up brown paper bags into small strips for basket grass. The best part is its FREE and easy. If you have a large stash of these in your garage like we do (thank you Murphy's Grocery) then break out the scissors and put the bags to decorative use. I mention earlier in the week about choosing non-plastic alternatives for holidays and just life in general. These are not as fancy as the plastic grass but a little watercolor action would add a bit more jazz and color if needed.
