book club

My book club meet this past Thursday to review and cook from the Locally Delicious cookbook that I cannot stop writing about. We each chose a recipe and brought it to the table for diner. Our discussion was centered around how easy it was to shop local, and the benefits and shortcomings, like cost and accessibility. New resources were shared and interesting debates on canned food and the hazards of big agriculture were talked about. The food was great and the conversation was even better.
