We have had a "heat wave" of sorts and my lettuce apparently likes to tan in the sun but not in good fashion. No, the kind of tan that resembles wilted brown leaves is not my favorite. However I was able to cut a bunch before the tanning, as I call it, and snap this shot of an herb and flower mixed salad looking very healthy. I haven't decided to plant more items or throw a few seeds in. My pots are looking mangy these days. I think some new greenery is in order.
