Someone recently asked me if we compost. We used to compost kitchen and garden scraps but now we have a new method that is better rat resistant, we had a rat hotel that needed to go away. I compost garden item as needed, and since it isn't quite garden season there is no compost started. All of our kitchen scraps go straight out to the chickens and they demolish any and all items in minutes.  We buy organic fruits and vegetables so there is no stress of pesticides or sprays (if we can eat it, they can eat it). The boys carry the duty of taking out the items and feeding the ladies with pride.
