book review: harvest to heat

I love, love love, this cookbook! The recipes are just the tip of the iceberg lettuce. It really gets my juices flowing to start our own harvest which is two short months away. I think its one of my favorite parts of winter, which is a bit backwards, but the wait for months on end until the sun returns and I can sink my teeth into a sun warmed tomato is sublime. The anticipation and planning, plotting and preparation! Ok, I am getting a bit a head of schedule but a girl can still dream in the middle of a January Wednesday afternoon. I plan to share some of my favorite recipes from this book which by the way was written by Darryl Estrine and Kelly Kochendorfer. They too have a daily blog that is worth checking out once in a while.
