on the road again...

We he hit the northbound 101 this past weekend with Elvis and headed to Panther Flats for another camping adventure. Last trip with Elvis was a bit too much for him and the lift system needed a "lift" when we got home. Big B invented a pole and crank system to get us back in business and sure enough it did the job. However in the adventure up the coast one of the support beams for the back bed decided to jump ship. We are thinking it found a new home somewhere after Crescent City. But as someone has said before the real adventure doesn't start until things go wrong. A little innovation and the pole for the new lift system now has double duty as a support beam. We had fun in the sun and spent most of our day on the Smith River. We made in home just in time for the Annie and Mary Festival in Blue Lake for a finish to a lovely weekend.
