radishes, wildflowers and sidewalk chalk

This weekend gave us a beautiful sunny beach day down at Moonstone beach. The boys went crazy in the frigid water and Little B dared to dunk all the way under. My toes were the only part to handle the chill. The garden yielded radishes planted on Mothers Day and became part of our beach picnic which now means a new spot to plant. The fog did roll in but we had many hours of sunshine to bike, pick wildflowers and make sidewalk art in the backyard. We had our first chicken emergency on friday with shirley losing a toe. I will share the story tomorrow in our chicken chronicles.
