book review

I finally bought this book, Grow Great Grub, after it sat in my amazon cart for a few months. Sometimes you read one garden book and you have basically read them all. The difference with this book is it covers many practical guides and steps for after you pick and you want to store or cook. I am mad at myself for the fact that I did not come up with some of Gayla Trails ideas, especially the dishtowel lettuce keeper. The dishtowel project is so basic but such a great idea and very thrifty too. Gayla is also the author of yougrowgirl.com and the corresponding book You Grow Girl. I follow her blog from time to time and her writing is witty and the photos delicious. This book is worth the purchase and is not just a read once and store on a dusty shelf.
