Godwit days
This weekend April 16th is the kick-off of 2010 15th annual Godwit Days Spring Migration Bird Festival. Many exciting bird watching and learning activities are just around the corner. I actually convinced Bernie to go on an Owling date with me this Thurday for the spotted Owl. He would never chose to do this on his own but I plan to drag the whole family on a couple learning trips to the Arcata Community Center to take in the festivities. One for sure we are going to is the Birds of Prey expo to see up close owls and falcons. This is why I love living here.
